As the sun is at last shining here in England, I'm praying that this is the start of the warmer weather to come! Without wanting to jinx it, I thought I'd share with you my Spring Beauty Wishlist to get us all in the mood for the summer months ahead.
I swear I've been hunting for the perfect primer for what seems like forever! I've heard so much about the Too Faced Hangover Primer that it's at the top of my 'to try list'. That being said, I'm also super tempted by the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer as Space NK now stock a smaller size, so if I don't get on with it, it won't hurt my bank balance too much! Speaking of Hourglass, the Ambient Lighting Blush in the shade Incandescent Light is calling out to me. It's a beautiful cool peach shade that will add a gorgeous pop of colour to the cheeks.
I've been lusting after the Aura Manuka Honey Mask from Antipodes for months and months, but since my skin has been acting up the past few weeks - as I mentioned in my recent skincare post here - I feel like there's never been a better excuse to splash out on some new skincare bits and bobs!
Since I live in England where sunlight is extremely limited, I'm afraid I do have to fake that summer glow, so bronzer is a must come the warmer months. This one from Urban Decay is supposed to be super finely milled and leave a radiant glow - sounds good to me! Oh and let's just take a moment for the packaging *insert heart eye emoji here*.
I've heard so much about the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Foundation. Lightweight, hydrating, SPF AND a radiant finish? Now that's what I'm talking about. Unfortunately it's so hard to get Tarte cosmetics here in England, I think this will be one I'll pick up when I'm in America in the summer.
I'm all about an orange/red lip so this Nars Lip Gloss in the shade 'wonder' looks right up my street. It would look perfect with minimal make up to add a splash of colour. With bright lips I like to keep my nail colour pretty neutral and I'm really intrigued to try out the Nails Inc Powered by Matcha range. It combines colour and treatment to leave nails super moisturised. The shade 'Cornwall Gardens' is a beautiful blue grey shade that would work with any outfit.
Now may we all take a moment to appreciate the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette. Usually I'm not a fan of there 'all-in-one' palettes as there's often a few dud shades in it for me, but CT has done it again. All of the shades look so wearable and there's the perfect mix of blushers, eyeshadows a bronzer and a highlighter.
And to finish my super long - and expensive eeshk! - Spring Wishlist is a fragrance. I'll be honest, when I first smelled Si by Giorgio Armani I wasn't an instant fan; clearly I was having a crazy day because now I'm obsessed. It's fruity yet floral yet earthy and just all round delicious.
What's on your spring wishlist?
Ohh such beautiful things! You've really inspired me to make a wishlist of my own now haha :D I'd love to try the Rainforest of the Sea palette and Too Faced primer, basically everything haha! xx

The problem with wishlists is once you start you can't stop! It was hard enough to narrow it down to just these 10 products!! xx
DeleteOoh I really want to try all these too - the Si bottle looks so pretty!

Isn't it gorgeous! Worth buying it for the bottle alone!
DeleteHonestly the Hourglass primer is amazing! My purse weeps every time I buy one (though I do only get the small one), so I try and save it for weekends/special occasions. The Antipodes mask is fab too, I also use it as a spot treatment overnight xx
ReplyDeleteThe Hourglass Primer is definitely one I'd use only on special occasions! I didn't realise you could use the Antipodes mask as a spot treatment! Now I have another reason to buy it!!
