NEW IN: BEAUTY AND SKINCARE

Father Christmas was extra kind to me this year and brought me lots of new beauty and skincare products to try! I haven't got around to trying them all out properly yet, but if I fall in love with any of them, you'll be sure to hear about it!

Warm eyeshadow shades suit my skin tone far better than cooler tones, which is why I have been lusting after the Nars Isolde Eyeshadow Duo and the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette for some time now. The Nars duo is compact and great for travelling whereas the chocolate bar palette has a wider shade of warm tones for lots of different looks - and it smells of chocolate!

In the way of skincare, I had tried a sample of the Origins Original Skin mask and thought it left my skin smooth and glowing, so the full size product was definitely on my list. Everyone and their dog has heard about Sarah Chapman's skin-changing products. Of course, they're anything but cheap. Which is why when I spotted smaller, tester sizes on the Sarah Chapman website, they were straight on my wish list. I chose the Overnight Facial and the Intense Hydrating Booster - I am expecting great things!

Since Real Techniques launched their Bold Metal brushes, I've been resisting buying all of them for the sake of my bank balance! But when I saw this trio of Bold Metal brushes online, I may have sent Santa the link to the page! They feel so luxurious as they're weighted and the bristles are super soft! Almost too pretty to use - almost.

My new additions on the lipstick front are the Lipstick Queen Frog Prince and Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in the shade Amazing Grace. Frog Prince is a green lipstick which adapts to the pH of your lips, creating your own unique rosebud pink shade, whilst Amazing Grace is a much more pigmented, pretty pink/nude shade.

Finally, last but not least, perfumes. I'm not even going to attempt to describe how they smell as it would just be a disaster! So all I'll say is YSL Black Opium is a dark, evening scent (although I'm definitely going to be wearing it during the day) whilst Diptyque Vetyverio is a much lighter fresher scent, perfect for daytime. They are both beautiful fragrances in their own right, I'd recommend you go give them a sniff!

What goodies were under your tree?
