FASHION: A CASUAL WINTER WEEKEND

Jeans/Zara   Jumper/Topshop   Trainers/Converse   Bag/Accessorize   Watch/Olivia Burton

In the winter, I'm all about staying warm and being comfortable. Cold, crisp days are my favourite - blue skies, sun shining, but with an icy chill that means wrapping up warm. Whether it's winter sale shopping, grabbing a coffee or going for a brisk stroll - this outfit has you covered.

A jumper with a high neck is essential for this time of year to bury your chin in to keep warm! This knitted number from Topshop never fails to keep out the icy wind and the white detail and cuts at the side give it a little bit of extra interest. I have paired it with my go-to black Zara jeans. They're super stretchy so super comfy and the zips near the pockets and on the ankles make them a bit different from other black skinnies. As I'm keeping it casual for this outfit, I've added my white Converse trainers - a real comfort staple of mine. Since this is all looking a little monochrome, my mustard bag from Accessorize is perfect to inject a splash of colour. As my wardrobe consists of a lot of grey and black in the winter - and all year round, who am I kidding! - this mustard bag has been getting a lot of love as it goes with every outfit, plus it's tiny and super cute!

This has been my casual outfit of choice for the past few weeks, it's so easy to wear but I feel the high neck of the jumper gives it that little bit extra oomph and the bag brings the colour it needs!

What are your winter staples?
