MY FAVOURITE FRAGRANCES

Perfumes and fragrances are inarguably very subjective and personal - it's rare that two people are completely in tune scent-wise. That being said, it's always nice to get some recommendations when you're shopping for a new scent, which is why I have put together my current favourite fragrances.

Diptyque - Vetyverio
A fragrance that beautifully blends fresh fruity notes with the woody, spicy and floral - Space NK
Vetyverio is the perfect fresh, light fragrance for daytime wear. To me, the scent changes throughout the day - starting out very light and floral then turning more woody and deep as the day goes on. Diptyque is by far my favourite perfume brand that I have tried. A little goes a long way and they last all day!

Lancome - La Vie Est Belle
Majestic Magnolia Essence, Iris Pallida, White Flowers Absolute, Patchouli Essence enlightened by a smile of delicate gourmand notes. - Lancome
A much sweeter scent than Vetyverio, La Vie Est Belle is a soft, feminine fragrance. It could easily be worn at any time of the year; it's fresh and sweet enough for the summer yet the warming undertones make it great for winter too.

Diptyque - Eau Duelle
Vanilla is refined between shadow and light. Brightened up by a vibrant top note of cold spices, then made sensual by black frankincense - Diptyque
Eau Duelle was the first fragrance that I tried from Diptyque and it really was love at first sniff! A vanilla based scent with a bit of spice which makes it not too sickly sweet. One of my top fragrance finds, it's very warming and comforting - perfect for winter!

YSL - Black Opium
Black Coffee for a shot of adrenaline; White Florals to instantly seduce; and Vanilla - for sweetness and sensuality - Debenhams
Black Opium has vanilla tones similar to Eau Duelle but the black coffee gives it that extra kick that somehow makes it a little more seductive. A perfect evening scent; it is warm, sweet and fruity whilst remaining sophisticated and intense.
